That said, some remote areas are more frequently affected by natural disasters, such as floods, forest fires or tornadoes. This means that accommodations located far from the major centres may still be regularly in demand.
The features of the accommodation
Our priority is always to provide policyholders with an accommodation that meets their needs and expectations. If your accommodation has less desirable or unusual features, it may not be suitable for everyone.
Is your accommodation in need of some love? Consider doing some renovations. Sometimes even small improvements can make a big difference.
The season
Some disasters are more or less common depending on the time of year. For example, floods and tornadoes often occur in the spring, while forest fires and hurricanes happen later. Residential fires and burst pipes are more likely to occur in the winter in colder regions.
You may be more likely to receive rental offers at certain times of the year, depending on your area (presence of flood zones, forests, etc.). Over time, trends may emerge that will help you anticipate the busier periods.
